Saturday February 11th AmVets Post 8 hosted the Women's Auxilary John Tracy benefit. This organization founded by actor Spencer Tracy for his son John to aide hearing impaired children and their families. The ladies Auxilary did a fabulous job rasing over $700 with auction, horse racing, a Valentine bar set-up serving special drinks, a silent auction for the grand prize, a dessert booth and fried chicken dinner. Wow ladies you ROCK! News of the event made its way over to Macdill AFB so we had several military men and women join us for this event which made this already great day even more special. We all observed our military men and women and were able to show them our appreciation and thank them for freedom. Bump in the Road band was honored to be a part of this celebration and great day. Thank you ladies Auxilary and AmVets Post 8.

Thank you VFW Post 10094 for your dedication, hard work and loyalty to honor those that have served and for allowing Bump in the Road to be a part of the welcome home celebration for 7 heros returning home from Afghanistan. Please view video and pictures below. 2nd Brigade, 502 Mortar Platoon, station in Ft. Campbell, KY, Army Infintry Division. VFW Post 10094 paid for hotel rooms and a fishing trip for them and their families while Bay News 9 covered the story Friday, then Saturday June 18th the hero's and their families came to Post 10094 to be honored, welcomed and to enjoy great food, cold drinks and live entertainment. Bump in the Road was privilidged to be a part of the celebration. Welcome home guys!

Bump in the Road Band has thoroughly enjoyed Sunday's in May at AmVets Post 8 located in St. Petersburg 4681 C.R. 16. Performing on the outside patio every Sunday in May 2pm to 6pm enjoying tasty burgers and hotdogs on the grill and the Tiki bar. The folks at Post 8 invite us with open arms. We have met some great folks and not only managed to pick up a few groupies but also made friends. So this posting today is to say thank you so much for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity.

VFW Post 10094 Wow... What can we say? We hold the folks at Post 10094 dear to our hearts. Post 10094 is the host of the Annual Wounded Warriors benefit. Everyone at Post 10094 has a big heart. Each person we encounter gives their all and gives us a continued heart warming welcome. We are looking for March 2012 return for the Wounded Warriors benefit. More pictures to come....
